Who is Dorothy Hooper?

Dorothy has spent most of her life as an artist, and discovered Reiki while seeking out relief from “a pain in her neck” after too many years of painting ceilings as a faux finisher.  Reiki was the only modality that was able to relieve her from the physical and emotional pain that she was experiencing.  A “life-long learner”, she started taking courses in Reiki, which has turned into a career, a passion and most importantly, a way of life.  Dorothy has studied with several Reiki Masters here in Nevada and California.  Her most profound lessons have come from her studies with Native American Shamans; because of their intense love for the earth and all of the animals who share it.  Dorothy really felt a connection and an increase in her Reiki abilities once she started using Hot Stones and Cold Stones (since they come from The Earth) in her Reiki Practice.  Dorothy also loves giving Reiki to Canines.  Dorothy anticipates finishing her Reiki Mastership this year.
